MEET THE CHARITIES

JCC Chai Sports engages over 2,000 kids every year through our hockey, basketball and baseball programs. Playing team sports is character building, providing vital learning for a child’s physical, social, and emotional development. Unfortunately, the cost is often prohibitive and many families are unable to send their kids because of it. The Scholarship Fund ensures that every child who wants to play has a spot on a team, regardless of capacity. Over 20% of JCC Chai Sports participants are on a Scholarship.
The Hug from Sarah Fund supports families during times of crisis and personal hardship. The J provides social, recreational and educational resources to children, youth, adults and seniors when they need their community the most. This fund gives respite to parents and children to support the healing process, promote well-being and offers needed respite.
